Mantoani is a photographer who comes from San Diego and for his work “Behind the photographs” he has been shooting images for the past 3 years using a 20×24 Polaroid. Each photographer is holding an image they are known for. As many of these photographers, like Polaroid, fade away, he hopes these images will be a way for future generation to appreciate the contribution these artists have made.

Blu – From Bologna to your heart

I discovered Blu a couple of years ago in Bologna and found his work again last year in Lisbon. I think that this guy deserves (at least) my recognition in this blog. Blu is probably one of the most famous street artists nowadays. You might probably know him because of his huge wall paintings that decorate some of the most significant cities around Europe, Africa and South America. His work can be found all over the globe and he keeps out of the comercial art machine in which so many street artists enter to never go out again.
